Australian Redhead Party in Brisbane

 

 

Two Brisbane residents have created a combination birthday party and a redhead/redbeard gathering. Jad Lee and Cole Suesskow will be celebrating their birthday along with other redhead friends and admirers on Saturday, June 26, 2010.

 

The event takes place starting at 9:00pm at The Butcher event at Alloneword and will go until 3am. The venue describes itself as a "boutique nightspot swathed in style and intimacy" that is an alternative to Brisbane's typical night spots.

 

Cole informed Redhead World of the upcoming event and is asking people to visit their to RSVP. You can e-mail the address on the page to be added to the guestlist so you can get in free (otherwise you will have to pay an entry fee). So far over 230 have RSVPed with over 300 more maybe attending.

 

The entertainment for the night will be "Nobby Suesskow direct from top of the pops in 1979 doing an exclusive disco DJ set with strictly vinyl, a microphone, and school boy good looks...other entertainment includes Dominiqe Bird, Tall Tonkey Timber and the birthday beards."

 

The event certainly seems to be a fun time and a welcome start towards larger redhead gatherings in Australia.
