Redheads in Need of Scholarship Cash & Teaching Budget

 

 

Redhead World has had some more members asking for help from our members, and we would like to highlight a few of those members today.

 

Member AKAKit, our regular site chat friend from Australia, is planning to teach English as a second language in Cambodia this summer with Projects Abroad.  She needs to raise $1,000 for her June 15th, 2011 trip for the large travel expense and study supplies for the children.

And for those who can spare time but not money, we have another opportunity to help fellow members.  Member Honeebe is a proud mom of five redheads and a redhead herself.  Hers is a family with 6 redheads!  They're also passionate about the vacation destination of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, United States and have entered Pigeon Forge Family Challenge contest.  She's requesting you please vote for their family's video everyday until May 17th, 2011 when the contest ends.  She plans to use the $10,000 winnings for the eldest redhead daughter's college fund.  With that many redheads, they could use the help.

Recently, member Kels was trying to get votes to win a trip to see fellow sweetheart member Fraz.  They've been a couple for two years, but are nearly on opposite sides of the world on student budgets.  Unfortunately, we weren't able to help them much in winning a New Zealand airfare contest, so if anyone spots any contests that would help them meetup, please notify either Kels or Fraz.  We'll try to get the word out more next time!
