5 Questions To Answer in Thesis Writing
As you enter the last year in your college life, you will have to write your own thesis paper whether you like it or not. Writing dissertation or thesis is required for every graduating student which is about a certain topic and be able to defend it afterwards in front of the panelists. This is done yearly, so if you want to graduate and get your diploma, you have to comply with it. This paper isn't simply an academic paper that you usually submit to your professors. It is not like the rest of the academic papers that you submitted before. This is actually the most crucial and toughest academic paper that you will have to write.
There are different parts of a thesis paper and one of which is the abstract. You have to write this part properly for it will explain why your paper is an important one. A good abstract is concise, readable and quantitative. And it must answer these five questions from this site:
1. What did you do?
2. Why did you do it? What question were you trying to answer?
3. How did you do it? State methods.
4. What did you learn? State major results.
5. Why does it matter? Point out at least one significant implication.
When you are already writing your abstract, you must not forget these questions. You have to be able to answer these properly and justify your answers. Abstract is one of the important parts of a thesis, so you better think of what you're going to write before finalizing it. Anyway, these questions are very helpful in constructing your abstract.
