What shade is my red hair? ~_-?
Well all my life I was told Im a ginger, and Im a redhead. Now I come to find there are "categories" of red. I know Im not strawberry blond eventhough someone has said it to me before, I have natural blond highlights but my hair is definetly too dark. Ive had people tell me my hair is a beautiful bright copper and dark copper color, then Ive been told my hair is dark auburn. Im so confused...I have brownish bright red that matches cherrywood when I stand next to it; but in the sun theres natural blond highlights all throughout, and because I have lighter brown eyes they actually appear red and match my hair. So my question is am I auburn or copper? Light or dark?

I had to go to your profile and look at more of your pictures to decide what I thought. On some I thought copper and on others I thought auburn because there is def. have a darker color in there. I agree with you though, your hair is def. not strawberry blonde. I finally decided you have what I call copper brown hair or very dark copper. It seems you have a brownish underlay with a nice copper reddish/golden color of highlighting especially in the right lighting. Hope that even makes sense! In any case, whatever it would be called, its a very nice color. :)

I'd say "copper." You have really bright tones that just rules out "auburn" (IMO). Definitely some golden colors in there too. It's cool that your hair has so many different lives in different light.
