The first audio/video/text chat after the holidays is Sunday, January 10, at 19:00 GMT / UTC.  If you can't make it on time, many tend to chat for the afternoon, so poke your head in the chat room and have some fun.

On the note of audio/video chat, it has been completely enabled in the instant messenger and tested by some users.  You can now audio/video chat in the instant messenger without having to use the main chat application. Simply push the play buttons to cast audio and video.

A new Redhead News section has been added to the main menu bar, replacing the unused Classifieds section.  This will be a central repository of links to news that most redheads will want to read.  Additionally, we are experimenting with hosting the RSS feed for the anti-gingerism site gingerism.com.  A number of users have mentioned them, and we are happy to try to repay their hospitality in writing a nice blog about Redhead World.  Gingerism has been our partner with the highest number of referrals here.

For now, classified activity can be directed to other means such as the forums, blogs, or special appeal to the admins for important projects.  In the future, as the site scales and if there is demand, we may reinstitute the Classifieds section.
