I'm not sure if I ever want to have children, but if I did I would hope it was a cute little redheaded girl. This is something my boyfriend and would-be grandparents have also expressed.
Since my boyfriend is very much not redheaded, I have always wondered if it would even be a possibility to have a redhead. Alas! I have found the answer. MyRedhairGene.com sells tests that you can order, then collect DNA, and then send it back to their labs. The labs then send you a report which exaplins if you are a carrier or not (or what varient of the MC1R gene you have if you are a redhead).
Fabulous! I have not actually purchased this test yet- solely based on the fact that it is a little pricey. I do intend to order one in the future though. For all of you who are very curious and have some extra money laying around give it a look.
