And I also run one entitled "Only Real Redheads"...which just shows images of us, and not the myriad brunettes attempting to pass themselves off as a redhead- intentionally or not. This page is for ALL of us, not just models or young girls. Children, older people, fat, thin, whatever- we are ALL beautiful...I am tired of seeing blogs run by NON-redheads, purporting to "love" gingers, then only to post endless images of teen girls with dyed hair with the same f-ing haircut! We are the rarest haircolour in the world. We ARE special...I weary of only seeing the same few models, and the endless parade of fake red...as if they don't know that *brunette* eyebrows give it away, even for the palest of them!

 

Now, don't get me wrong...I *love* hair dye. I dyed my hair any colour OTHER than natural red since I was 14 or so due to the bullying. I also happen to be a (now old) punk rocker, so colour changes were standard. I also did it, and sometimes still do, JUST to piss those people off who whine, "your natural colour is SO beautiful...why don't you leave it alone"?....

 

I also believe that life is short, and I will try anything and everything I desire to before my end comes.

 

But seeing the level of fetish to which our kind have risen to, from gay porn blogs featuring ginger men, to the same for women; the obsession with us has risen high as the discrimination continues, but *seems* to be lessening (though I don't know much about the lives of other redheads).

 

Anyway, so just as this site is for US...this Tumblr blog is for US. I encourage you to visit and submit your photos, your children, your families; to celebrate the beauty we ALL posess, by way of that oh-so-special recessive gene!
