Group title: Genetic Similarities?
I've been interested in Red Headed genology for quite a while. I've noticed that there are different groups of us who tend to look like each other. I went to school with a guy who I was constantly being mixed up with, "I saw you at....." and I'd reply, "no, that was Zack" we looked similar enough and the red hair was the only point of memory for the person who saw either of us that they assumed we were the other person (from a distance) This got me thinking, what do groups of us have in common? It is known that Neanderthal had red hair, and that Neanderthal didn't die off but instead mixed DNA with Homo Sapiens. Based on this, I conclude that some of my features are a genetic throw back to them - larger, longer nose, bigger frame (broad shoulders) and I have extra bones in my jawbone, feel yours, lower jaw, just below molars on outside..feel a bump of protruding bone on each side? If you do, you have them on the inside too....strengthens your jaw bone, is it a hold-over from prehistoric relatives? There's a bone at the back of your head, just above where the spine meets the skull, does yours stick out more than a non-redhead you know? Lets talk!
